Have you already started learning the language of your host country from home, but would like to get an early taste of life overseas before you arrive? Student Exchange Australia New Zealand offers you the opportunity to take part in an online pre-arrival Language Boost Course, delivered by a native local teacher from your exchange country, to help you build confidence and improve your language skills before departure.

The course provides structured language and cultural preparation before departure and is the strongest way to support confident arrival and smoother integration.

Language Boost Course Summary

Cost: NZ$475

Total duration: 15 hours (1.5 hours per week)

Languages offered: French, German, Italian & Spanish

Teachers: All teachers are native and officially qualified.

Class size: Small, interactive Zoom classes with a maximum of 10 students

Consistency: The same teacher & classmates throughout the course

Schedule: All lessons begin at 9:00 am CEST (afternoon/evening in New Zealand). You can check your exact local time here. You will be placed into one of your three preferred weekdays.
